On November 17th the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of approximately $15 million in grant funding for projects focused on hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) reclamation and innovation destruction technologies. This funding opportunity, under the Inflation Reduction Act, includes $1.5 million set aside for federally recognized Tribes. The EPA will hold a one-hour public informational webinar at 1pm Eastern on December 7th, 2023. Presenters from the EPA will provide an overview of the grants, including information on eligibility, evaluation criteria, key dates, and the application process.
