CDFA Office of Farm to Fork

The California Department of Food and Agriculture Office of Farm to Fork (CDFA-F2F) is pleased to share that $20 million was allocated for program continuation in late September 2021. Through the Healthy Refrigeration Grant Program (HRGP), CDFA funds energy efficient refrigeration units in corner stores, small businesses, and food donation programs in low-income or low-access areas throughout the state to stock California-grown fresh produce, nuts, dairy, meat, eggs, minimally processed, and culturally appropriate foods.

CDFA-F2F now seeks comments on the Request for Proposal (RFP) for Technical Assistance Providers. Feedback will be considered before finalizing this RFP and in developing future RFPs. Public comments are due by 5 pm PT on Monday, April 4. Stakeholders may submit comments in one or both of the following ways:

  • Written Comments via Email: Please submit comments to cafarmtofork@cdfa.ca.gov and include “Comments on HRGP TA Provider RFP” in the subject line.

  • Live Comments via Webinar: CDFA-F2F will host a public comment webinar on Monday, March 28 from 3-5 pm PT. The session will include an overview of the RFP and time for questions and comments. CDFA-F2F will not provide formal responses to comments during the webinar, but will provide a summary of feedback received and responses afterwards on this webpage.
