This 2-Day in-person training course provided by Hillphoenix is designed to help participants understand the Booster CO2 system. This class is designed for the refrigeration Service Technicians with an intermediate skill level. The following subjects will be covered:
Review and understand the system-piping diagram, this will allow the participant the ability to understand how the system operates and discuss the operating pressures.
Understand new vocabulary, supercritical vs subcritical, sublimation etc...
Review and understand the system wiring diagram
Understand how the flash gas bypass valve works
Discuss how the ICMT valve operates
Understanding the all Booster Rack controllers
How to safely troubleshooting a Booster system
Understand an adiabatic condenser/gas cooler.
This training will take place over 2-days, with 8 hour of classroom training and 5 to 6 hours of hands-on training. Classroom training will typically go from 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 45 minute break for lunch. The hands-on session will be in front of a Booster CO2 rack at a Grocery Outlet location in Murrieta, CA. A written test is given and a passing grade of 80% is required at the end of the classroom training.
