Thank you for your interest in presenting at an NASRC Natural Refrigerant Training Summit.

NASRC’s training events provide free learning opportunities for refrigeration technicians, featuring classroom instruction and hands-on sessions focused on current CO2 and propane technologies. Our goal is to equip technicians with the knowledge, tools, and practical skills needed to install, service, and maintain future-ready natural refrigerant systems.

If you are interested in delivering a training session during the 2027 NASRC Training Summit season, please submit an application for consideration.

Application deadline is October 29, 2026.

Session Selection Criteria

NASRC reviews and selects proposed sessions based on their potential to provide relevant, high-value instruction for refrigeration technicians. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria.

Technology Relevance

Proposed sessions should address technologies technicians are likely to encounter in the field.

Priority will be given to training that:

  • Focuses on real-world equipment, systems, tools, and service scenarios
  • Reflects current industry practices and technician needs
  • Supports the safe and effective use of natural refrigerant technologies, including CO₂ and propane systems
  • Provides knowledge that technicians can apply directly on the job

Training Topic Value

Sessions should help technicians build practical competency in installing, servicing, troubleshooting, commissioning, operating, or maintaining refrigeration equipment.

Strong applications will include:

  • Clear learning objectives and defined technician takeaways
  • Practical classroom instruction, hands-on learning, or a meaningful combination of both
  • Technical content appropriate for the intended audience’s experience level
  • Guidance that supports technician confidence, capability, and professional growth

NASRC particularly values sessions that move beyond product overviews to deliver actionable technical instruction.

Trainer Experience

Trainers should bring direct, relevant field experience and be prepared to share practical perspectives with participating technicians.

Priority will be given to trainers who:

  • Have worked directly as refrigeration technicians or in closely related technical field roles
  • Can speak to real installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting conditions
  • Have experience delivering clear, engaging technical instruction to adult learners
  • Can provide objective, education-focused content rather than promotional material

Sales representatives are not eligible to deliver training sessions.

Before You Apply

Please be prepared to describe:

  • Your proposed session title and topic
  • The technology, equipment, or systems the session will address
  • The intended technician audience and recommended skill level
  • Key learning objectives and practical takeaways
  • Whether the session is classroom-based, hands-on, or both
  • Your technical qualifications, field experience, and training background
  • Any equipment, space, materials, or logistical needs required to deliver the session

What to Expect

NASRC will review submitted applications for alignment with Training Summit objectives, technician value, and event logistics. Selection for one event does not guarantee selection for all events, and NASRC may contact applicants to clarify session content, scheduling needs, or format.

Selected sessions will help refrigeration technicians strengthen their skills and advance the transition to sustainable, best-in-class natural refrigerant systems. NASRC Training Summit feature rotating classroom sessions and hands-on training led by manufacturers and industry experts.

We look forward to reviewing your application.
