This program provides Southern California R/HVAC school faculty and instructors with opportunities for compensated online and field training on market refrigeration and CO2 refrigeration systems. The program aims to equip faculty to expand their curriculum and prepare students to excel in a refrigeration career.

The first iteration of this program was made possible thanks to the SoCalGas Climate Champions Grant.

Receive stipend for participation in training program (only for faculty located in SoCalGas territory)

The NASRC School Support Program empowers HVACR faculty to expand their curriculum to include refrigeration and ultra-low-GWP refrigerants, offering hands-on training, individual consultation, and support throughout the
process. NASRC works closely with targeted schools, providing resources and guidance at no cost to participating faculty and schools.
This program is made possible through the generous support of the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) F-gas Reduction Incentive Program (FRIP).
