In October 2025, we opened registration for the 2025 – 2026 season of the Natural Refrigerant Training Summit series. The free events offer comprehensive training from leading manufacturers for refrigeration technicians on CO2 and propane systems, an expo featuring the latest natural refrigerant technologies and a career fair for R/HVAC students to explore career opportunities, meet employers and network with technicians.
The season starts November 4, 2025, in Concord, California. Co-hosted with UA Local 342, the event will feature foundational training on CO2 and propane systems. Technicians can build on that knowledge in December at a deep-dive CO2 Transcritical Booster Start-up Workshop co-hosted with Pacific Gas & Electric Energy Centers in Stockton, California.
“The training series is the cornerstone of R-TRADE, offering comprehensive training ranging from essential knowledge to specialized, real-world expertise,” said Morgan Vanzo, NASRC senior director. “We provided over 10,000 hours of classroom and hands-on training last season; we hope to make this our biggest season yet.”

Registration for all other dates opens later this year.
