Advisory Committee

Ensuring the successful launch and implementation of the Refrigeration Technician Recruitment, Advancement, Development, and Education (R-TRADE) program, NASRC’s workforce development initiative.

Committee Scope

This committee provides guidance on topics related to the successful launch and implementation of the NASRC R-TRADE program which is intended to improve recruitment, training, and retention of refrigeration technicians nationwide.

This group of leaders provides the necessary balanced perspective and industry influence to accelerate and scale the impact of the R-TRADE program.

Members

Companies that fall into the following categories are invited to assign 1 individual to sit on the Committee:

Founding Program Partners: Food retail companies who have signed on as a founding partner of the R-TRADE program and commit to providing an annual contribution for the first three years of the program.
Titanium Members: Titanium members are companies that support NASRC at the highest membership level on an annual basis.
Other Individuals: As determined by the Board of Directors.

Committee Structure

MEETINGS: Meeting are held once a quarter and chaired by NASRC staff. During each meeting, staff provides a progress update and opportunities for input from committee members. NASRC staff, Committee members, and NASRC Board Members can request ad-hoc meetings at any time.
SEAT LIMITS: Each participating company can appoint 1 individual to sit on the committee.
